What makes a supplement vegan
The capsule shell is the most common non-vegan ingredient in supplements — many brands still use gelatine. All Nutri-Leaf capsules use plant-based shells made of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), a cellulose derivative. The listed ingredients of every formula are free of animal-derived substances. All capsules in the range use plant-based HPMC shells instead of gelatin.
The one nutrient to watch
Vitamin B12 occurs naturally almost only in animal-derived foods — which makes it the nutrient most worth attention in a vegan diet. Vitamin B Complex provides 2.5 µg vitamin B12 per capsule (100% NRV) alongside the other seven B vitamins, and Skin Hair & Nails provides the same 2.5 µg. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

All Nutri-Leaf products are manufactured in a facility that processes the major allergens listed in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. Cross-contamination cannot be fully excluded. If you have a severe allergy, check the product labels and consult the manufacturer before use.
