Why 1,000 mg?
The Nutrient Reference Value (NRV) for vitamin C is 80 mg per day. One Vitamin C 1000 mg capsule provides 1,000 mg — 1,250% of the NRV — in a single daily serving. Vitamin C is water-soluble, meaning the body does not store it in large amounts; a daily intake keeps the supply steady. The formula contains exactly two ingredients: L-ascorbic acid and the plant-based capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose).
