What the Label Can Legitimately Say
Hair, skin, and nail maintenance has a precise vocabulary in food-supplement regulation. The approved nutrient-function claims used in the Nutri-Leaf Skin, Hair & Nails formula read:
- Biotin (50 µg, 100% NRV) — contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin.
- Vitamin C (80 mg, 100% NRV) — contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.
- Zinc (3.5 mg, 35% NRV) — contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, skin and nails.
- Copper (1.0 mg, 100% NRV) — contributes to normal skin and hair pigmentation.
- Vitamin B12 (2.5 µg, 100% NRV) — contributes to normal energy metabolism.
Every one of these is a maintenance statement — "contributes to the maintenance of normal…". None of them promises faster growth, thicker hair, or firmer skin, because no authorised claim supports those promises.
What the Formula Contains Beyond the Vitamins
The capsule also contains four plant extracts: bamboo shoots, millet seed, nettle leaf, and horsetail. They are declared as ingredients with their amounts — and no health claims are attached to them, because none are authorised. That honesty cuts both ways: the label tells you exactly what is inside, and it does not dress the plant extracts up with wording that regulation does not allow.
Why "Normal Maintenance" Is the Right Frame
Hair, skin, and nails are living tissues with a normal turnover rhythm. Their condition reflects overall nutrition, sleep, and general health — not any single capsule. A supplement contributes nutrients for normal maintenance where dietary intake falls short. It cannot undo what a poor diet, stress, or a medical condition does, and it is not a treatment for hair loss or skin conditions — those questions belong with a healthcare professional.
What a Daily Routine Looks Like
- A varied diet with vegetables, fruit, and adequate protein.
- Normal sleep and hydration.
- One capsule of Skin, Hair & Nails daily with water, if the nutrients fit your diet — not suitable for children and adolescents, and do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
