Quality Control

Quality Control at Nutri-Leaf

Every Nutri-Leaf product is manufactured under rigorous quality control standards. From raw material sourcing to finished product testing, our quality assurance process ensures that every capsule meets our specifications for purity, potency, and safety.

Manufacturing Standards

Our supplements are produced by BHI Biohealth International GmbH in Muenchberg, Bavaria — a food-supplement manufacturer operating under an FSSC 22000-certified food-safety management system. FSSC 22000 is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and represents the highest international food safety standard for supplement manufacturing.

The manufacturing facility is audited by Quality Austria Certification GmbH (Vienna) and operates under EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines for food supplements.

Testing Protocols

Raw Material Testing

Every incoming ingredient batch is tested for identity, purity, and potency before it enters production. Suppliers must provide certificates of analysis, and our manufacturing partner performs independent verification testing. Materials that fail any specification are rejected.

In-Process Testing

During production, samples are taken at critical control points. Capsule weight, disintegration time, and blend uniformity are monitored throughout each production run. Any deviation triggers immediate investigation and corrective action.

Finished Product Testing

Every production batch undergoes final testing before release. Tests include microbiological analysis, heavy metal screening, active ingredient assay, and physical parameters (capsule integrity, weight uniformity). The batch is only released when all results meet specification.

Ingredient Transparency

Nutri-Leaf practices full label transparency. Every active ingredient, its exact chemical form, and its quantity per serving are declared on the product label. Our formulas use active, bioavailable nutrient forms — such as methylcobalamin (B12), pyridoxal-5-phosphate (B6), and L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) — rather than cheaper synthetic alternatives that require conversion in the body.

We do not use magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide, artificial colours, or artificial preservatives. Our capsule shells are made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) — a plant-based material suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Stability and Shelf Life

Stability testing is conducted under ICH guidelines to verify that products maintain their potency, purity, and physical characteristics throughout their labelled shelf life. Products are tested under accelerated conditions and real-time conditions to establish and confirm expiration dating.

Continuous Improvement

Quality control is not a one-time checkpoint — it is an ongoing commitment. Our manufacturing partner maintains a continuous improvement programme that reviews every batch, evaluates trends, and implements preventive measures. Customer feedback is incorporated into quality reviews.

Regulatory Compliance

Nutri-Leaf products comply with EU Food Supplement Directive 2002/46/EC and the German Nahrungsergaenzungsmittelverordnung (NemV). Product labels meet EU Regulation 1169/2011 on food information to consumers.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
